In 2020, there was an ongoing effort to amend the constitution in Thailand, which was continuously expanding. However, many individuals still disputed this matter, echoing the voices of those who participated in the 2016 referendum. In response, iLaw (Internet Law for people) and ELECT (Previous name of Wevis, part of Punch Up) gathered data through a survey on the opinions of those who had previously voted "YES" for the draft constitution during that referendum.
The objective of this project was to create a visual summary of the survey data. The chosen color palette aligns with our partner's identity, iLaw. I selected the square shape to evoke the image of a ballot box, symbolizing voting, and then adapted it with area charts to present the data. In another section, I used small pixels to symbolize the percentage of people who misunderstood information during the 2016 referendum. I believe this visual representation conveys the collective impact of many individual voices coming together.
In essence, when this dispute was brought up, this visualization of survey data can serve as the voice of change. Even though the amendment of the constitution is still being discussed today in the new government of 2023, I hope that decision-makers will listen to people's voices, with this project serving as a reflection of public opinion.

The treemap shows that almost half of the people can't remember what they voted for in the 2016 referendum.
